Generals Aim for Weekend Sweep of Colts
February 7, 2022 - Ontario Hockey League (OHL)
Oshawa Generals News Release
The Oshawa Generals aim for their third win of the weekend tonight as they play host to the Barrie Colts at Tribute Communities Centre.
The Generals enter this game one point back of the Colts and will look to overtake them in the standings tonight.
These two teams played last night in Barrie, with the Generals winning a nail-bitter 1-0 thanks to a 3rd period goal by Ryan Gagnier. Goaltender Patrick Leaver made 31 saves for the shutout.
Matthew Hill, Oskar Olausson, and head coach Todd Miller all have a past in the Colts organization, so this game will undoubtedly mean a bit extra for them.
It will surely be an exciting matchup tonight between the 5th and 6th seeds in the Eastern Conference, with puck drop scheduled for 6:05 pm.
