
Gawryletz Joins Reign Defense

Ontario Reign News Release
The Ontario Reign, proud affiliate of the Los Angeles Kings, announced the signing of defenseman Travis Gawryletz for the 2011-12 season.
Gawryletz, 25, comes to the Reign from the AHL's Lake Erie Monsters, where he played 120 games, earning a total of 30 (6g, 24a) points, in the 2009-10 and 2010-11 seasons. Prior to playing with the Monsters, Gawryletz played with the ECHL's Elmira Jackals for two seasons racking up 22 (4g, 18a) points in 72 games.
A native of Trail, British Columbia, the 6'02 defenseman played for the Trail Smoke Eaters for two seasons before spending four years on the University of Minnesota-Duluth (WCHA) team. During his time with U. of Minnesota-Duluth in 2004, Gawryletz was an 8th round pick for the NHL Entry Draft by the Philadelphia Flyers.
