Kamloops Blazers News Release
Kamloops, BC - Kamloops Blazers General Manager, Craig Bonner announced today that the Blazers have traded 18-year-old defenseman Brady Gaudet to the Red Deer Rebels for a 3rd WHL Bantam Draft pick in 2013.
Gaudet, who hails from Redvers, SK, has five assists in 12 games for the Blazers this season. The 5'11" and 190lb defenseman has played 117 career games with the Blazers and has seven goals, 27 assists and 34 points.
"With nine defensemen on our current roster, we felt it was necessary to free up more ice time to our other defensemen," commented Bonner. "Brady is a terrific young man and we wish him well in Red Deer."
The Blazers roster is now at 24 players including two goaltenders, 8 defensemen and 14 forwards.
After completing a five-game Central Division road trip, the Blazers are back in action this Friday, October 26th when they host the Brandon Wheat Kings. For tickets call the box office at 250-828-3339 or purchase online.
