(Windsor, ON) - Athletic Therapist Joey Garland is leaving the club after 13 seasons, general manager Warren Rychel has announced. The Carbonear, Newfoundland native joined the Spitfires during the 2005-2006 season and went on to win three Memorial Cup titles (2009, 2010 and 2017). "Joe has been a stalwart for us," Rychel said. "He's done so many good things. His professionalism has always been outstanding. For him, for anyone in his line of work, at any level of the game, to win three Cups is a remarkable achievement. We will miss his presence on and off the ice."

Garland's replacement will be named in the coming weeks and will take over the position later in the summer.
