Garcia Homers Twice in 15-10 Extra-Inning Loss

CLEARWATER, Fla. - Friday night was the night of the long ball at BayCare Ballpark, with four Threshers going yard in a 15-10 loss to the Dunedin Blue Jays in extra innings.
Nicolas Torres, Baron Radcliff, Rixon Wingrove, and Luis Garcia all sent the ball out of the yard. Garcia homered twice and racked up four RBI at the plate. The home runs give Garcia a total of three so far in July and seven on the season.
Two Blue Jays also homered in Friday night's contest: Orelvis Martinez and Steward Berroa.
The two teams totaled 24 hits and 25 runs in the ball game. Dunedin tied the ballgame at 10 in the top of the ninth and sealed the deal in the tenth with two doubles and Berroa's two-run blast that pushed the Blue Jays ahead 15-10.
Clearwater and Dunedin play game five of the six-game set Saturday Night at BayCare Ballpark. RHP Fernando Lozano (3-1) is on the hill for the Threshers. Gates open at 5:00 p.m. for the 6:30 p.m. game.
