The right-hander was acquired by the Braves along with Rob Whalen from the Mets in exchange for Kelly Johnson, Juan Uribe and cash on July 24, 2015. A native of Savannah, GA, he was originally selected by the Mets in the 21st round of the 2011 draft.

Landoni, 26, posted a .345 average with 17 RBI in 29 games during the month of August. He was also named Southern League Player of the Week for the week of July 6-12. The Maracay, Venzuela, native was signed by the Braves as a free agent on December 20, 2011. He was originally signed as a non-drafted free agent by the Marlins in December 2005 but was released prior to the 2007 season. Landoni then signed with the Yankees in 2008 where he played four seasons before joining the Braves organization.

The M-Braves finish the 2015 season with today's contest in Jacksonville at 12:05 PM CST.
