
Game vs. Lancaster Rescheduled as Doubleheader Tomorrow

(York, Pa.): Important information regarding Friday's postponed York Revolution game against the Lancaster Barnstormers was announced this afternoon. The game has been rescheduled for tomorrow, Saturday, September 12, at Sovereign Bank Stadium, as part of a doubleheader.
The teams will play two 7-inning games, with the first game beginning at 5 p.m., and the second game beginning 30 minutes following the conclusion of the first. Gates open at 4:30 p.m.
All ticket holders for tonight's game will need to exchange their tickets in person at the Apple Chevrolet Ticket Office for a remaining 2009 regular season home game, based on availability. If you have tickets dated Saturday, September 12, you will be able to attend both games of the doubleheader. Exchanges can be made in person at the Apple Chevrolet Ticket Office.
The Revolution football t-shirt giveaway brought to you by Support Pennsylvania Games of Chance, will be provided to the first 1,000 ticket-holders who exchange tonight's tickets to the Apple Chevrolet Ticket Office.
The Football Night Reception with NFL Great Ricky Watters, hosted by the Big33, has been moved to Cobblestone's Restaurant & Sports Emporium, from 7-8 p.m.
In addition to Saturday, the Revolution will host games Sunday through Wednesday as the final homestand of the season continues.
Fan-favorite Corey Thurman makes his return to the mound in Game One Saturday, following nearly two months on the Disabled List. Local sensation Shawn Hedrick, coming off a brilliant outing last weekend, will start Game Two. On-field Fireworks follow the second game on Saturday night, presented by Chili's. The Big Hitters will also perform, and it is the final Scratch-Off Saturday of the season, with the baseball card giveaway presented by Ettline Foods and WSBA to the first 2,500 fans.
Sunday is the much-anticipated Faith and Family Day, featuring a live postgame concert by Remedy Drive. It is the final Autograph Sunday of the season, and it is also Grandparents Day with a free Dutch Winter Wonderland ticket giveaway to the first 750 children. It is also the last chance to cash in on the FREE parking lot on Sundays! First pitch is scheduled for 1 p.m., with gates opening at 11:30 a.m.
The final home series of 2009 begins on Monday night when the Long Island Ducks come to town, with the last Monkey Magic Monday of the season, and one final big 2 for 1 Tuesday.
Wednesday is the home finale, and Fan Appreciation Day. Fans are encouraged to come early and grab any of the hot giveaway items they may have missed during the season. The first 1,000 Revs fans under the age of 12 will receive a ticket to HERSHEYPARK Christmas Candylane. The All-You-Can-Eat Crabfeast is back for a second serving, and the 18th and final Postgame Fireworks Show will follow the game, courtesy of FlipSide and PA Small Games of Chance.
