
Game Two Of July 4th Doubleheader Rained Out

New Britain, CT - The second game of today's July 4th All-American Doubleheader at New Britain Stadium has been rained out. The two Eastern League clubs were able to complete Game 1, with Portland prevailing, 4-2, before 4,794 fans in New Britain.
While there is no official word yet on a make-up date for Game 2's washout, it is believed that the contest will be played when Portland returns to New Britain to play a series over Labor Day Weekend.
