Spokane Chiefs News Release
Back to Spokane. The first round series between the Chiefs and Everett Silvertips will take place in Spokane on Sunday night at 6:00 for game six. Spokane trails the Silvertips three games to two and must win on their home ice on Sunday night to force a game seven. To this point of the series, the first five games have been won by the home team, including Friday night's 5-1 Everett victory.
It may seem like a season ago, but it was just the start of the week when Spokane trailed the series 2-0 before their first two home games. The Chiefs won 3- 2 on Tuesday and 3-1 on Wednesday to even the best- of-seven before Friday's game.
In four regular season games in the Spokane Arena versus Everett, the Chiefs were 3-1 and with their two playoff wins have posted a 5-1 record on the season at home against the Silvertips.
