March 23, 2024 - NBA G League (G League)
Sioux Falls Skyforce News Release

Last Meeting: 113-109 on 12/1/23 in Cleveland, OH

All-Time Record: 16-10

Streak: W2

The Sioux Falls Skyforce approaches the final stretch of the regular season with four games remaining, all of which at the Sanford Pentagon.

The team comes into the two-game series with the Cleveland Charge on a two-game winning streak and wins in three of their last four games. Sioux Falls could clinch a playoff spot for the second consecutive season this weekend, as well.

The Skyforce defeated the Memphis Hustle 121-107 on Tuesday to complete the season series sweep and continue their pace for a top-two seed (just a game back of Stockton Kings for first) in the Western Conference and a bye in the first round of the playoffs. The victory marked back-to-back 20+ wins in a season, the first in the Showcase Cup era.

Sioux Falls defeated Cleveland in two games during the Showcase Cup, with a 113-109 decision on 12/1/23 at the Wolstein Center. Drew Peterson paced the Skyforce with 25 points before earning his NBA Call-Up with the Boston Celtics.

The Charge started the regular season 8-7, but have dropped nine of 14 since, lost their most previous game 106-103 to the Memphis Hustle on Thursday after sweeping Raptors 905 last weekend. Isaiah Mobley led the way against Memphis with 24 points.

Mobley has been a anchor for Cleveland, averaging 17.2 points, 8.5 rebounds and 3.6 assists per 31.6 minutes in 19 appearances. Sharife Cooper continues his success, with 18.9 points, 4.2 rebounds and 7.7 assists per 33.0 minutes in 25 games.

Both teams meet again Sunday, with tip-off slated for 3:00 PM CST. The Skyforce wraps up the regular season next weekend, in a two-game series with the Kings, which looms to have major playoff seeding implications.
