Tonight... The Saskatoon Blades begin a 5-game stretch at home against the Red Deer Rebels. It's the second meeting of the season for the Blades and Rebels and only the 3rd home game of the season for Saskatoon who will look to remain undefeated at SaskTel Centre.

The opponent... The Rebels enter tonight's game as one of the hottest teams in the league riding a 5 game win streak. Red Deer also carries a little extra clout after knocking off the league leading Prince Albert Raiders last Saturday. They're lead by 20-year-old forward Braden Hagel who has 14pts in 7 games. Sophomore netminder Ethan Anders has 4 of the Rebels 5 wins and brings a .914SV% through 6 starts.

Who's hot... Dawson Davidson has 9 points in his last 5 games, 12 points in total on the year leading all defensemen in league scoring. He was the WHL & CHL Player of the Week on Monday. Kirby Dach has 7 points in his last 5 games. He leads the Blades with 14pts in 8GP this season. Dach was also the first WHL & CHL Player of the Week of the season. Riley McKay has a current point streak of 2 goals and 2 assists in his last 4 games.

The lineup... May look a little different for Saskatoon after the departure of 18-year-old winger Michael Farren who was traded to Kelowna on Thursday. The Blades are also expecting 19-year-old defenceman Jackson Caller to return to the lineup after missing the last 4 games due to injury.
