Tonight
The Saskatoon Blades look to extend their impressive win streak to seven games, battling the offensively charged Winnipeg ICE.
Following Monday's 4-0 victory over Prince Albert, the Blades are the only team in the Eastern Conference yet to lose in regulation, earning 17 of a possible 18 points.
Saskatoon's 8-0-1-0 record is recognized as the best start in the organization's 57-year history, putting the crew four points up on the Brandon Wheat Kings for top spot in the East Division. A win would leapfrog the Blades ahead of the Edmonton Oil Kings for first place in the Eastern Conference.
ICE Bath
The lone blemish in Saskatoon's record comes courtesy of the Winnipeg ICE on March 17th. Winnipeg skated to a 2-1 overtime victory, with Vegas Golden Knights 1st rounder Peyton Krebs netting the winner.
Colton Dach scored the lone goal for Saskatoon in that contest, with goaltender Koen MacInnes named the game's second star with 27 saves.
This is the second of four meetings between the two foes. Winnipeg controlled most of the season series last year, winning four out of five contests, but both teams don similar 7-6-1-0 records against each other over their last 14 meetings.
Who to Watch
Draft-eligible forward Colton Dach is producing at a magnanimous rate, netting four goals in the last two games, including Monday's game-winner. The former first-round pick to Saskatoon has piled up eight points (5G-3A) in the last four matches, and sits tied for second in team scoring with 11 points (6G-5A).
San Jose Sharks' second-rounder Tristen Robins is working on a six-game point streak, collecting 10 points (4G-6A) in that time. The 2001-born centreman picked up a goal and an assist in the Blades 4-0 victory on Monday.

Veteran goaltender Nolan Maier stopped all 24 shots on Monday, earning his 8th career shutout and franchise record-tying 85th career win.
My Oh Maier
After a historic shutout victory against the Raiders on Monday, Nolan Maier has the chance to enter unprecedented territory in Blades lore.
Maier's next victory will catapult him ahead of Tim Cheveldae, setting a new record for most career victories as a Blade.
Maier is currently tied with Cheveldae with 85 wins, and dons a perfect 6-0-0-0 record this season.
The Yorkton, SK product is also one back of Andrey Makarov's record for most career shutouts, having collected his eighth against Prince Albert.
Captain's Quarters
Pending WHL graduate Chase Wouters is enjoying an impressive final chapter to his storied career. The Lloydminster, AB product extended his scoring streak to four games Monday night, scoring the insurance marker in a 4-0 victory over Prince Albert, and adding a pair of assists.
Wouters sits tied for first in team scoring with 13 points (5G-8A), all while continuing to excel as one of the best faceoff artists in the WHL.
The two-time Hardest Working Blade award winner sits 2nd among centremen in the WHL with 126 faceoff wins, boasting a 57.0% success rate.
Hailed as one of the greatest leaders in the WHL, the career-Blade is the only player in franchise history to wear the 'C' for three consecutive years.
