DES MOINES - The Iowa Barnstormers (0-1) travel to face the Green Bay Blizzard (0-2) on Friday, March 31st. The matchup is scheduled for 6:05 P.M. at the Resch Center in Green Bay, Wisconsin.
Green Bay is coming into the game following a 55-41 loss to the Massachusetts Pirates. Green Bay was on the verge of a comeback by scoring 21 pints in the fourth quarter but fell short to do so.
Iowa is traveling to Green Bay following a 57-44 loss to the Vegas Knight Hawks (1-0) on Saturday night. Running back Antonio Wimbush helped the Barnstormers keep it close with three touchdowns and 79 yards rushing.
This is the first matchup of the season between the Barnstormers and Blizzard. The Barnstormers are looking to improve their record to 1-1 and start the first half of the season strong.
