The Ice Flyers have not played in Fayetteville in over a full calendar year with the last time the Flyers played in Crown Coliseum being January 15th, 2011. The last time these teams even played was in Pensacola on March 3rd, 2011. Fayetteville's home record is the worst in the league at 5-11-2 while the Ice Flyers' road record now sits at 7-8-2 after a win Tuesday over Louisiana. The Ice Flyers will be looking to earn 2 more points and stretch their lead over Louisiana for 4th place.

PENSACOLA - The Ice Flyers began their 4-game road trip with a 4-3 win over the Louisiana IceGators on Tuesday. Corey Milan got the win is his first game in a Flyers sweater. Milan has an over record of 5-6-2 record, a 3.88 goals against average, and a .906 save percentage and Jeff Rose has a combined record of 4-7-1, 4.03 GAA, and a 0.857 SV%. Jordan Chong leads the team in scoring with 34 points. Chong, Matthew Robertson, and Andrew Harrison are the team leaders in goals with 14 while Chong and Ryan Salvis lead in assists with 20 each.
The Ice Flyers' power play is currently 3rd best in the league at 19.02% with 31 power play goals after going 2 for 4 with the man advantage on Tuesday. The Ice Flyers have only given up one shorthanded goal all season. Pensacola's penalty kill is also 4th at 82.03% with 23 power play goals against while managing to score 4 shorthanded goals.
This is the second of four games on the road for the Ice Flyers this week. The Ice Flyers will be in Huntsville on Friday and Saturday to end their week.
FAYETTEVILLE- The FireAntz got 5 out of 6 possible points last weekend with an OT loss to Knoxville on Friday then wins over the RiverKings and the Surge on Saturday and Sunday. Fayetteville has Mike Brown and Erik Hudson patrolling the crease with Brown, who began the year with the Louisiana IceGators, has a record of 12-16-3, a 3.72 GAA, and a 0.895 SV%. Hudson began his season with the Ice Flyers and now has a record of 1-3-0, a 4.32 GAA, and a 0.885 SV%. Fayetteville's leading scorer is Chris Leveille with 49 points. Leveille and Jesse Biduke both lead the team in goals with 16 apiece. Leveille also leads the team in assists with 33.
Fayetteville's power play is 6th in the SPHL at 17.04% with 23 goals but they have given up 7 shorthanded goals. Their penalty kill is last in the league at 76.88% with 43 power play goals against, thought they have managed 3 shorthanded goals.
