The Erie SeaWolves open up a four game series with the first place Akron RubberDucks (Cleveland Indians) at UPMC Park....The SeaWolves wrapped the up the season series with the Richmond Flying Squirrels winning four of the six games...Isaac Paredes cranked his first AA home run yesterday on a grand slam in the first game of the doubleheader...Will Maddox recorded a 3-for-3, 2B and three run performance in the second game of the doubleheader....Maddox also launched a solo homer in the first game of the two-bill to for his fourth bomb of the season...The SeaWolves still sit 5.5 games behind the second place Altoona Curve for a playoff spot....This will be the first meeting of Akron and Erie since the beginning of June....Erie has won five of the seven games played against Akron, all at Canal Park in Ohio.....Sergio Alcantara has a .409 AVG in six games against the RubberDucks and Danny Woodrow has a .500 AVG in three games.....Spencer Turnbull will make his first start for Erie since June 16th....The righty returned from the DL and struck out six in 4.2 against Fort Myers...In Turnbull's last start for Erie he earned a win against Trenton after racking up six strikeouts and allowed two runs in 5.0 IP....Jake Paulson will make his third start against Erie in 2018...In two starts against Erie, Paulson has a 0-1 record and a 2.25 ERA.
