Seattle Sounders FC and LAFC last met in the Knockout Stage of the MLS is Back Tournament in Orlando

After a decisive 3-0 road win over Portland last weekend and a mid-week match postponement in Los Angeles, Sounders FC (3-1-2, 11 points) hosts Los Angeles FC (2-1-3, 9 points) on Sunday evening at CenturyLink Field (7:00 p.m. PT / FS1, 950 KJR AM, El Rey 1360 AM). Sunday marks the first soccer match at CenturyLink Field since March 7, with the club playing its first of three home games during the initial phase of Major League Soccer's continuation of play following the MLS is Back Tournament in Orlando.
Sounders FC's match on Wedesday at the LA Galaxy was postponed following a player vote to not play, as part of a league-wide protest of social justice issues and police brutality.
Raúl RuidÃÂaz scored twice and added an assist against Portland last weekend en route to being voted MLS Player of the Week. The win gave Seattle its first three-match road winning streak in MLS regular-season play over its archrival at Providence Park.
