Game Notes: Sounders FC vs. Chivas Guadalajara

Following a 5-2 aggregate win over Santa Tecla FC in the 2018 Scotiabank CONCACAF Champions League Round of 16, Sounders FC heads to the tournament's Quarterfinal Round against Mexican giant Chivas Guadalajara, with the first leg set for Wednesday on the Xbox Pitch at CenturyLink Field (7:00 p.m. PT / UDN, Go90, 950 KJR AM, El Rey 1360 AM). Wednesday's match is being aired nationally on Univision Deportes Network, in addition to an English-language live-stream on the Go90 app featuring Juan Arango on the call. Sports Radio 950 KJR AM is carrying tonight's match, with Matt Johnson and Kasey Keller on the call. Fans in Western Washington can tune-in to El Rey 1360 AM for a Spanish radio broadcast, featuring "Zuper" Mario Rodriguez, Felipe Maqueda and Carlos Tapia.

This marks Seattle's fifth outing in the SCCL, most recently advancing to the Quarterfinals of the 2015-2016 tournament before falling to Club America. Following tonight's match, Brian Schmetzer's side heads to Guadalajara for the return leg next Wednesday, March 14 at Estadio Akron.
