Game Notes: Sounders FC at New England Revolution - May 28, 2016

After a 1-0 home loss last weekend to the Colorado Rapids, Seattle Sounders FC (4-6-1, 13 points) hits the road to face the New England Revolution (2-4-7, 13 points) on Saturday, May 28 at Gillette Stadium (4:30 p.m. PT / JOEtv, ROOT SPORTS, Univision-Seattle, KIRO Radio 97.3 FM, El Rey 1360 AM). Saturday's match is being broadcast locally on JOEtv, featuring Keith Costigan and Kasey Keller on the call, as well as Jackie Montgomery and Steve Zakuani providing pre, halftime and post-match analysis.

ROOT SPORTS is carrying the match regionally, as fans in Eastern Washington, Oregon, Idaho, Montana and Alaska can tune-in to see the match live. A Spanish-language broadcast is available on Univision-Seattle featuring Jaime Mendez and Diego Arrioja on the call.

KIRO Radio 97.3 FM is airing the match live with Matt Johnson and Zakuani providing the commentary, as well as Jason Rantz, Pete Fewing and Danny Jackson handling pre, halftime and post-match coverage from the studio. Fans in Western Washington can tune-in to El Rey 1360 AM for a Spanish radio broadcast, featuring "Zuper" Mario Rodriguez and Felipe Maqueda.

Sounders FC is 4-4-2 all-time in MLS regular season play against New England, but is just 1-3-1 at Gillette Stadium. Saturday's match is the first of a two-match road swing, with the Rave Green heading to the nation's capital on Wednesday, June 1 to take on D.C. United. Sigi Schmid's side is 3-0-0 against the Eastern Conference this season, and plays the next five MLS matches against the East.
