This is the final home match for Crew SC ahead of the Copa America break, which begins following the Black & Gold's League clash at Philadelphia next Wednesday, June 1. The club returns to play with the Fourth Round of the 2016 Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Cup on Wednesday, June 15. Columbus is set to face either the Tampa Bay Rowdies or FC Cincinnati in that match, which takes place at Jesse Owens Memorial Stadium on the campus of The Ohio State University.

In this match, Real Salt Lake visits Columbus for the only time in 2016 regular-season play as well as for the first time since June 4, 2014. The Black & Gold are 7-1-1 all-time against Real Salt Lake. That represents a points-earned percentage of 81.5%, the highest that Crew SC has recorded against any current MLS club at home all-time (minimum two matches played).

This is also the sixth Western Conference matchup for Crew SC thus far in the 2016 season. The Black & Gold finish this campaign with 18 out of their final 22 regular-season contests against Eastern Conference opponents. From the West, Crew SC is scheduled to travel to face Sporting Kansas City (July 3) and the LA Galaxy (September 3), while the Black & Gold host the San Jose Earthquakes (August 27) and Vancouver Whitecaps FC (September 10) in Central Ohio later in the current campaign.

Last weekend against Toronto FC, goalkeeper Steve Clark registered his third clean sheet of the 2016 campaign as well as the 17th regular-season shutout of his MLS career. He also made his 79th regular-season start in Black & Gold, tying Andy Gruenebaum for third all-time in Crew SC history in goalkeeper starts.

On Thursday, supporter voting for the 2016 AT&T MLS All-Star Game in San Jose opened. Eight Crew SC players are on the ballot: Harrison Afful, Steve Clark, Ethan Finlay, Federico Higuain, Ola Kamara, Justin Meram, Michael Parkhurst and Wil Trapp. Ten players - one goalkeeper, three defenders, four midfielders and two forwards - will be named to the All-Star Fan XI. Voting runs now through July 4 at 3:00 p.m. ET at ColumbusCrewSC.com/vote.
