This is the 4th of 8 meetings this season between the Warriors and the Pats. They began the first half of their home and home series last night in Regina. The Pats stormed out to a 2-0 lead halfway through the second, but the Warriors scored 4 straight times before Jordan Eberle cut the lead to 4-3. The Pats had the game tied after the put home a loose puck, there was no whistle but the officials called the play dead and no goal. Antonin Honejsek led the way for the Warriors with a pair of goals, while Jordan Eberle had a goal and an assist.

This pushes him into the top 20 all time and pushes him past Jeff Friesen (91-95) for 15th on the all-time goal list and is now 1 back of Mike Wanchuk (71-74) for 14th all-time. Eberle's 239 points pushes him into a tie with Gary Dickie (85-89) and is now 3 points back of Craig Endean (86-88).
Important Stretch:
From October 20th against the Raiders to November 15th in Brandon, 10 of the 12 games for the Pats will come against Eastern Divisional rivals, 5 at home and 5 on the road. After this stretch of games, the Pats will play 15 of their next 18 on the road (because of Agribition and the World Junior Hockey Championships).
Borstmayer to U-17's:
The SHA, along with Hockey Manitoba, announced the Team West roster for the upcoming World U-17 Hockey Challenge from December 29th to January 4th and Tyler Borstmayer will be a part of their defensive core.
Next Action:
The Pats will finish a grueling 3 in 3 stretch tomorrow night in Brandon against the Memorial Cup host Wheat Kings. It's a 5:35 pre-game show on 620 CKRM, 6pm puck drop at Westman Communications Group Place.
