Medicine Hat Tigers News Release
Victoria, BC - The Medicine Hat Tigers (5-2-1) continue their BC Division road-trip with a visit on Vancouver Island to battle the Victoria Royals tonight
After kicking off the road-trip with a 9-2 win in Kelowna Saturday, the Tigers return to Victoria for the first time since November 2, 2019 when the Tigers doubled up the Royals 6-3.
Medicine Hat comes in with accolades a plenty from the WHL when it comes to their power play and penalty kills as with a 14/400 power play good enough for tops in the Eastern Conference while in the Top Five of the league when it comes to the penalty kill.
Shane Smith (Cessford, AB) will look to continue his incredible start scoring points in every single game thus far for the Tigers (nine goals, four assists) in eight games, while the Island boys in Brayden Boehm & Evan May will be playing in their home towns for the first time in their career.
You can catch the game on your home of the Tigers WILD 94.5, starting with the pre-game show with Gino De Paoli at 7:45 Mountain Standard Time and puck-drop is set for 8 PM.
Following tonight's game, the Tigers will ferry over to face the Vancouver Giants Wednesday Night.
