LAST GAME: 2-1 L Vs Saskatoon Blades: It was a goaltenders duel between the Tigers Beckett Langkow and Blades netminder Austin Elliott. Despite outplaying the Blades it would be goals from Vaughn Watterodt and Jayden Wiens would be enough for the Blades to steal one from the Tigers Saturday Night. Oasiz Wiesblatt would score his 11th of the year to make things interesting and releasing the bears on the Tigers Teddy Bear Toss game but couldn't find the equalizer.

VS EDMONTON: It's the second of six meetings between the Tigers & Oil Kings this season. Medicine Hat won the season opener at home 6-1 over the defending WHL Champions November 23 at Co-op Place. The Tigers got goal scoring from six different players in Oasiz Wiesblatt, Brenden Lee, Brayden Boehm, Reid Andresen, Pasha Bocharov & Tomas Mrsic. While Beckett Langkow made 25 stops in the win.

Since 2007-08, the Head to Head match-up between Edmonton & Medicine Hat has the Tigers with a 57-36-3-2 record while the Tigers on the road against the Oil Kings are 25-18-1-3. Medicine Hat is 4-3 in overtime and 8-3 in shootouts against Edmonton

TIGERS TEDDIES: The Medicine Hat Tigers held their Annual Teddy Bear Toss Saturday night at Co-op Place. Oasiz Wiesblatt would score the Teddy Goal in a 2-1 L against Saskatoon

Defenders Attacking: The Tigers defence core of Rhett Parsons, Bogdans Hodass, Dru Krebs, Pasha Bocharov, Josh Van Mulligen & Reid Andresen have contributed to 71 points (16 goals, 55 assists)

Silver Lining: Tigers forward Tomas Mrsic returns to the Tigers after taking home a silver medal at the World U17s in Langley, BC. Mrsic had one goal and one assists for Team Canada Red. Cayden Lindstrom also participated in the U17s as a member of Team White scoring two goals and two assists in the tournament.
