Tonight - the Saskatoon Blades will try to end a 4 game losing skid while completing a season series sweep over the visiting Edmonton Oil Kings. Both teams come in with just 1 win in their last 5 outings. The Blades currently sit 4 points behind Prince Albert in the Eastern Conference wild-card race. The Blades are 3-0 against the Oil Kings this season, a complete flip from last year when Edmonton swept the season series 4-0. Josh Paterson and Braylon Shmyr each have 4 points vs the Oill Kings this year, while Trey Fix-Wolansky leads the way for Edmonton with 3 points in 3 games against Saskatoon.

The opponent - Edmonton is beginning a 3 game road trip in Saskatoon tonight, and they're also trying to snap a 4 game losing streak. The Oil Kings have just one win in their last 7 outings, and haven't had much time to rest since there last game on Sunday against Regina.
