Regina Pats Sign Carter Massier and Matthew Pesenti

Regina, Saskatchewan - The Regina Pats Hockey club is pleased to announce they have signed forward Carter Massier and goaltender Matthew Pesenti to Standard WHL Player Agreements.

Massier (6'1, 170), is a listed prospect of the Pats. The 16-year-old spent the 2017-18 season with the Grande Prairie Storm of the AMHL, scoring 20 goals and adding 19 assists for 39 points in 35 games. The product of Peace River, AB also dressed for two games with the Fort McMurray Oil Barons of the AJHL.

Pesenti (5'10, 159), is also a list player by the organization. He played the 2017-18 season with the Saskatoon Blazers of the SMHL. In 27 games, the 16-year-old went 9-14-0 with a 3.35 goals against average and a .900 save percentage to go along with one shutout.

"We are happy to have Carter and Matthew commit to our organization," said Pats Head Coach and GM John Paddock. "They are both good young players and we look forward to them being a part of our team in the future."

The Pats continue their Central Division road trip on Tuesday night in Medicine Hat against the Tigers. Puck drops at 8 p.m. Regina time on 620 CKRM. Next home game for the Pats is on March 14 against the Prince Albert Raiders at 7 p.m. Tickets are available at reginapats.com and the Brandt Centre Box Office.
