On Our Turf
With Games 1 & 2 behind them, the Winterhawks enter tonight's tilt with work to do to get back in the series. A 2-0 hole is hardly where they want to be, but it's not an impossible hill to climb. Home ice has been kind to them so far this postseason, and a raucous VMC will go a long way toward the Hawks grabbing a Game 3 win.
"We're all really excited to come home. Being at home, having our crowd is a huge advantage to get everyone into it. Easy to get the energy and momentum going, so it's gonna be a real exciting game," said defenseman Josh Mori.
White Out
Match the team and wear white tonight! Jerseys, hats, shirts, hoodies, pants, shoes...it's all fair game, just make sure it's white!
Need a wardrobe upgrade? Enjoy 15% off white merchandise (including replica jerseys!) at the team store inside the VMC tonight and tomorrow.
Make sure to arrive early and check your seat when you get to the game as well; there will be white rally towels and thunder sticks placed around the lower bowl to help the best fans in the WHL make the playoff environment even better for Game 3.
Everyone In
Seven Winterhawks have hit the scoresheet so far in the series, and three have logged multiple points. It's a solid foundation and a testament to the team's depth, but after being shut out in Game 2, they'll likely need more offensive contributions from throughout the lineup.
It's nothing new for a team that has ridden its full roster all year, and one of the great things about playoff hockey is the chance for anyone to be the hero. Who's it gonna be tonight?
