
Moose Jaw Doubles Up on ICE

Zack Ostapchuk and Briley Wood gave the Winnipeg ICE a 2-0 lead 7:18 into the opening period, however the Moose Jaw Warriors rallied for an 8-4 victory Tuesday on home ice.
Vladislav Shilo and Josh Medernach had the other Winnipeg goals as they now trail the best of seven Eastern Conference Semi Final series two games to one.
Lynden Lakovic and Jagger Firkus each scored twice for the Warriors while Eric Alarie, Cosmo Wilson, Martin Rysavy and Ryder Korczak rounded out the attack. Brayden Yager chipped in with four assists.
Warriors goaltender Connor Ungar earned the victory making 25 saves as Winnipeg outshot Moose Jaw 29-25. Daniel Hauser allowed three goals on eight shots. Mason Beaupit made 12 saves on 17 shots over the final 45:08.
The two teams play again Wednesday in Moose Jaw before returning Saturday at 7:30 to the ICE Cave inside Wayne Fleming Arena for Game Five.
