Home Sweet Home
After spending Thanksgiving week on the road, the Winterhawks are back in the VMC for a rivalry clash with the T-Birds. Seattle got the better of Portland last Friday in Kent, but the Hawks still hold a slim 2-1 season series lead.
"It wasn't the outcome we were looking for but it's always fun coming into Seattle knowing it's going to be a good game when we play these guys," said Hawks captain Gabe Klassen following the contest.

The Kids Are Alright
Hudson Darby and Cole Cairns made their WHL debuts in Everett last Wednesday, kicking off their junior careers after signing with the Winterhawks earlier this summer. Tonight could mark their home debuts, should Head Coach/GM Mike Johnston elect to name them in the lineup.
"You know coming to the game I was a bit nervous, but also I'm obviously excited to just get going. It's something you look forward to after you get drafted. It's good to do it with these guys. Skilled team, a great team, so it's good for my start," said Cairns after his debut.
Darby echoed his fellow rookie's sentiments, saying his debut "was really good. When you play with a team like that it makes it a lot easier. You have the nerves before the game but it's just another hockey game so I tried to play my game."
Keep an eye out for a couple new faces on the ice tonight!
