We love ya, Hawks fans!

It's Fan Appreciation Night at the VMC!

To thank you for all your support throughout the year, both in the arena and from afar, we've got a few special giveaways and moments of recognition planned for the evening. First up, Seth Jarvis bobbleheads for the first 500 folks through the doors!

The giveaways don't stop there - keep an eye out for lucky rows, lucky sections, t-shirt tosses, and much more throughout the evening! So come cheer on the Hawks for one last time in the regular season and help us roll into playoffs on a high note!

Keep it rollin'

The goal for any team heading into playoffs is to ensure you're playing your best hockey as the regular season ends. With wins in five straight, the Winterhawks are heating up at the right time, and one last victory over the division winners would give the team all the confidence it needs as the first round kicks off next week.

Perhaps most impressive about Portland's five-game heater is that four of those wins have come over playoff-caliber competition, including victories against the only two teams ranked above the Hawks in the Western Conference - Everett and Kamloops. Three wins on the streak have come in overtime, showing again that this team has the talent and confidence to step up when the game's on the line. It's been a stellar run, and there's one more big hurdle to clear before the postseason.

Who's it gonna be?

As the Hawks and Silvertips duke it out one last time in game 68, both teams will certainly be keeping tabs on games happening miles away as the bottom four teams in the Western Conference playoff race continue to jockey for position. Separated by two total points, Vancouver, Spokane, Prince George and Victoria are all in action tonight and tomorrow, and each one is a potential first-round foe for both Portland and Everett alike.

So during tonight's intermissions and especially tomorrow night, keep an eye on the standings to see who grabs that #6 seed and will be making the trek to the Rose City on April 22!

WIN A TOYOTA:

Back for another season, fans 18+ who reside in Oregon or Southwest Washington can ENTER TO WIN a brand new Toyota car, truck, or SUV.

Each game this season, one lucky fan will have their entry drawn and they will have a chance to win our grand prize if they get all five game predictions correct.

Tonight, we are cheering on: Carl W. from Beaverton, OR

What our Hawks fan could win: A brand new Tundra

What needs to happen?

Portland Winterhawks (3) beat the Everett Silvertips (2)

Cross Hanas scores the first Winterhawks goal.

Portland goaltenders make 28 total saves.

Everett goaltenders make 26 total saves.

Good luck tonight, Carl!
