Game Date Change Will Not Affect Pre-purchased Tickets

The Moncton Wildcats are preparing to host the Saint John Sea Dogs in the battle for the Rivalry Cup, a two-game friendly challenge to determine who can draw the most fans.

The QMJHL regular season game was originally scheduled for March 11, was rescheduled for March 10 at the request of the City of Moncton to allow for the hosting of a Great Big Sea concert. The date change occurred after season tickets and many walk-up tickets were printed. Those who have tickets with the March 11 date do not have to exchange their tickets as they are valid for the March 10 Rivalry Cup game.

The Wildcats have announced that at the March 10 game one lucky fan will have the opportunity to shoot to win $100,000 during the second intermission as well a second fan will have a chance to win $25,000 in furniture made possible through Lounsbury Furniture. More than 4,500 tickets have been sold to date with the magic number needed to win the Rivalry Cup being 5,789.
