Green Bay Gamblers News Release
Green Bay (Oct. 28, 2013) - The Green Bay Gamblers are proud to announce Military Appreciation Night presented by the Fox Valley Animal Referral Center on Saturday, November 2 will honor military groups and raise money for local Disabled American Veterans. The Gamblers host the Des Moines Buccaneers at the Resch Center at 7:05pm.
During the game, the Gamblers will wear special edition camo jerseys. Those game-worn jerseys will be sold during a live auction after the game. A portion of the auction proceeds and a portion of every game ticket sold will benefit the Disabled American Veterans.
Individuals and businesses can purchase tickets that will be distributed to local military groups and veterans. For information on purchasing group tickets to donate, please contact Jason Habeck at 920-405-1130.
Last season, $4,000 was raised for the Disabled American Veterans and the Wounded Warrior Project. The Gamblers would like to thank the Fox Valley Animal Referral Center for their role in helping raise money for such a worthy cause.
The Fox Valley Animal Referral Center works with primary care veterinarians in our community to provide specialty care, specialized diagnostics, and around-the-clock emergency and critical care services.
