
Gamblers Fall in Return to Resch Center

Green Bay Gamblers News Release
The Green Bay Gamblers (5-8-0-1) fell to the Youngstown Phantoms (8-7-0-2) 7-2 Saturday evening at the Resch Center. Youngstown came out swinging in the first period with a trio of goals. Green Bay would respond at the beginning of the second with a Will Staring (1) goal to make it 3-1. However, Youngstown would widen the gap with a flurry of goals in the second and third periods. After a late Cam Lund (5) score, the Gamblers would fall to the Phantoms 7-2.
Staring scored 1 goal in the contest, along with Lund continuing his fine scoring form with 1 goal for himself. John Mittelstadt (2) assisted on Staring's goal while Hallum (4) assisted on Lund's score. In net, Rastislav Elias played all 60 minutes, saving 23 of 30 shots, allowing 7 goals.
Green Bay will play the Dubuque Fighting Saints (7-3-2-2) at home Wednesday, November 24, at the Resch Center.
Youngstown will play the Chicago Steel (12-2-4) in Chicago Friday, November 26, at Fox Valley Ice Arena.
