Gamblers and FCCU Give Back to Area Schools

The Green Bay Gamblers along with corporate partner Fox Communities Credit Union purchased a washer and dryer for Pulaski Middle School and Jefferson Elementary in Appleton. It marks the fourth straight year that the Gamblers and Fox Communities Credit Union have purchased washers and dryers for schools in Northeast Wisconsin.

The washer and dryer units were presented to Pulaski Middle School and Jefferson Elementary at the team's annual School is Cool game this past Saturday (11/30). School is Cool is a promotion that rewards a complimentary ticket to elementary and middle school students who excel in the classroom. Students representing over 20 schools took part.

The Gamblers and Fox Communities Credit Union will team up again on Monday, December 30 for the 11th Annual Mitten Toss. Those attending are encouraged to bring a pair of mittens and after the Gamblers first goal, toss them on the ice. Since 2009, the annual event has collected nearly 14,000 pairs of mittens for children in need in Northeast Wisconsin.

Gamblers next home game is Friday, December 13. It's Bud Night featuring $2 Bud and Bud Light drafts. Start time is 7:05 PM.
