Youngstown Phantoms News Release
YOUNGSTOWN, OH- The Youngstown Phantoms host one game this weekend on Friday Night, December 6th, 2019 @ 7:35pm against the US Hockey National Team Development Program U 18's. Toy Drive brought to you by Kelly Warren & Associates will collect toys benefiting Foster Dreams. Any fan bringing a new, unwrapped toy to the game will receive a $5 voucher to any future Phantoms game this season. Following the game will be a post-game skate with the team. The U18's have cooled off slightly since their last trip to the Covelli Centre, bouncing back from a mini two-game losing streak to win their next two, including a 6-3 win over the Phantoms in their last outing on Thanksgiving eve in Michigan. The NTDP combined has a 15-7-0-0 record, with the U18's contributing 7-2-0-0 to that mark. 30 points on the season has the NTDP in second place in the USHL's Eastern Conference as we've hit the one-third mark of the season. The U18's have four USHL games remaining (including tonight) before they start a nine-week stretch against NCAA D-I and D-III competition that won't have them back in USHL play until February 20.
