
Gamache, Finley lead Admirals past Ducks to take 3-1 series lead

MILWAUKEE, WI - Simon Gamache had a goal and an assist and Brian Finley stopped 28 shots, as the Milwaukee Admirals beat the Cincinnati Mighty Ducks, 3-0, Monday at the Bradley Center to take a 3-1 lead in the best-of-seven West Division semifinals series.
Paul Brown and Darren Haydar also scored for the Admirals, who have scored 10 of their 13 goals in the series on the power play.
Finley, the sixth overall pick in the 1999 NHL Entry Draft by Nashville, stopped nine shots in the first period, 11 shots in the second period and eight more in the third en route to his first career AHL playoff shutout.
Frederic Cassivi surrendered three goals on 18 shots before being pulled in favor of Ilya Bryzgalov in the second period. Bryzgalov stopped all 14 shots he faced in 23 minutes, 51 seconds of action.
Game Five of the series will be played Wednesday at 7:35 p.m. at Cincinnati Gardens.
