Featuring the Philadelphia Flyers' stars of tomorrow, the record-setting Phantoms are competing against the Admirals in a Best of Seven American Hockey League East Division Semifinal Playoff Series, which continues with Games Three, Four and Five in Norfolk.

Starring top goaltending prospect Antero Niittymaki, young Flyers defensemen Joni Pitkanen and Dennis Seidenberg, 2003 first-round draft pick Jeff Carter and Northeast Philadelphia's very own Tony Voce, the Phantoms won an AHL-record 17 straight games earlier in the season and remained one of the league's elite teams throughout the year.

The Phantoms finished second in the East Division with a 48-25-3-4 record (103 points). All Phantoms home playoff games will be played at Wachovia Center.

The Phantoms went 4-6 vs. the Admirals in 2004-05 and will be meeting Norfolk in the East Division Semifinals for the second year in a row. Last season, Philadelphia captured the series in six games before losing to Wilkes-Barre/Scranton in the division finals.
