
Galaxy will now face off against FC Dallas in home opener

CARSON, CA (Thursday, December 14, 2006) - The Los Angeles Galaxy will now play their 2007 MLS home opener against FC Dallas on Thursday, April 12 at 7pm (PT) at The Home Depot Center on the campus of California State University at Dominguez Hills, the club announced today. Originally, the Galaxy were scheduled to open their season at home against the New York Red Bulls.
Four days prior, the L.A. Galaxy will officially kick off the 2007 season on the road against the defending MLS Cup Champion Houston Dynamo on Sunday, April 8 at 4pm (PT) at Robertson Stadium. The Galaxy's complete 2007 MLS schedule will be released at a later date.
The Galaxy have an all-time regular season record of 21-14-7 (W-L-T) against FC Dallas over the course of MLS' first 11 seasons. That record includes a Galaxy home mark of 16-3-2 in 21 games at the Rose Bowl and The Home Depot Center. The two teams spilt the four-game season series in 2006, with each team winning at home.
