FRISCO, Texas (Thursday, December 14, 2006) - FC Dallas General Manager Michael Hitchcock today issued the following statement on the passing of Lamar Hunt, team owner.
"Today, the FC Dallas family mourns the loss of our visionary leader, Lamar Hunt. He led us by example and treated our staff and players as part of his extended family. We are more committed than ever to realizing his vision for Major League Soccer and FC Dallas. He was our Most Valuable Player and we will miss him dearly. Our thoughts are with Lamar's wife Norma, his sons Clark, Dan, Lamar Jr., daughter Sharron, and the entire Hunt family."
