
Galaxy Executes Conditional Trade with United

PASADENA, CA (Wednesday, August 14, 2002) - The Los Angeles Galaxy executed a conditional trade with D.C. United before today's Major League Soccer (MLS) trade deadline announced Galaxy VP/GM Doug Hamilton. In order to protect the integrity of the transaction, the conditions of the trade will be released at a later date.
The conditional trade between the Galaxy and United marks the only transaction of the day among MLS teams before the 5pm ET deadline.
Up next, the Los Angeles Galaxy is in Columbus tonight to take on the Crew at 4:30 pm (PT) at Columbus Crew Stadium. Galaxy fans can tune in live over the airwaves on KTNQ 1020 AM (Spanish), and again at 7:00 pm for a tape delayed broadcast on ESPN Radio 1110 AM (English).
