SUNRISE, Fla. - Florida Panthers Executive Vice President and General Manager Dale Tallon announced today that the club has assigned G Dan Ellis to San Antonio (AHL). The Florida Panthers training camp roster now stands at 31 players.
Florida wraps up the 2014 preseason schedule with a home-and-home series against their intrastate rivals the Tampa Bay Lightning on Thursday, Oct. 2 at BB&T Center (7:30 p.m.) and in Tampa on Saturday, Oct. 4 at Amalie Arena.
The Florida Panthers open the 2014-2015 season on Thursday, Oct. 9, in Tampa Bay against the Lightning.
