Texas Legends News Release
DALLAS- The Dallas Mavericks announced today they have assigned Isaiah Roby to the Texas Legends of the NBA G League.
Dallas acquired the draft rights to Roby on June 26, 2019, along with two future second round picks, from the Detroit Pistons in exchange for the draft rights to 37th overall pick Deividas Sirvydis. He started all five games for the Mavericks at the MGM Resorts NBA Summer League in Las Vegas. Roby averaged 8.8 points, a team-high 5.2 rebounds, 1.4 assists and a team-high 1.2 blocks in 27.6 minutes per contest.
Roby has yet to see action in the Mavericks first three games of the season.
