Erie BayHawks Complete Trade with Maine Red Claws

ERIE, PA - The Erie BayHawks, NBA G League affiliate of the New Orleans Pelicans, have completed a trade with the Maine Red Claws, the team announced today. Erie has traded the returning player rights to Codi Miller-McIntyre, in exchange for the returning player rights to Vitto Brown. This trade is not subject to a physical.

Brown (6-8, 230) appeared in 47 games (22 starts) with the Red Claws this past season, averaging 10.4 points, 4.8 rebounds and 1.0 assists in 25.6 minutes. The Bowling Green, Ohio native notched five double-doubles during the 2018-19 season, including 19 points and a game-high 10 rebounds against the Salt Lake City Stars on November 27, 2018.

A four-year forward for the University of Wisconsin, Brown played in 120 games (71 starts) for the Badgers, averaging 5.5 points, 3.1 rebounds and 0.6 assists in 16.0 minutes. He helped lead Wisconsin to four-straight NCAA Tournament Sweet 16 appearances during his collegiate career (2014-2017), including a trip to the 2015 NCAA Tournament Championship game.

Following four years at Wake Forest, Miller-McIntyre (6-4, 204) played internationally for four seasons in Belgium, Russia and Slovenia, while also appearing in eight games (all starts) with the Texas Legends during the 2018-19 season. A local to Charlotte, N.C., Miller-McIntyre averaged 10.6 points, 6.6 assists, 5.9 rebounds and 2.0 steals in 36.5 minutes during those eight appearances with Texas. The BayHawks obtained the rights to Cody Miller-McIntyre during the 2019 NBA G League Expansion Draft on August 28.
