Fuel Sign Shawn Hulshof to Tryout Agreement

INDIANAPOLIS - The Indy Fuel, proud ECHL affiliate of the NHL's Chicago Blackhawks and the AHL's Rockford IceHogs, announced Friday that they have signed forward Shawn Hulshof to an amateur tryout agreement (ATO). Hulshof will be available for the Fuel's three game weekend slate, which starts Friday in Kalamazoo

Hulshof, 23, finished his collegiate career with SUNY-Oswego (D-III), where he led the Lakers in scoring each of the last three seasons. The 6-foot-3, 205-pound forward from Stouffville, Ontario ranked 10th in the nation this season with 41 points (13g, 28a), earning All-SUNYAC honors and leading Oswego to an NCAA Tournament berth. Hulshof averaged over a point per game over his NCAA career, amassing 53 goals and 76 assists in 105 total games.

Next Home Game: Saturday, March 18 vs. Kalamazoo - 7:35 p.m. (Pink in the Rink): The Fuel swap out their red and black for pink during their third-annual breast cancer awareness game, benefitting the Pink Ribbon Connection, Susan G. Komen of Central Indiana and the I.W.I.N. Foundation.Indy's game-worn pink sweaters will be auctioned off at the end of the night, with all net proceeds going toward participating charities.
