Fuel Announce 2015-16 Promotional Calendar

INDIANAPOLIS - The Indy Fuel, proud ECHL affiliate of the NHL's defending Stanley Cup Champion Chicago Blackhawks and the AHL's Rockford IceHogs, revealed on Tuesday the team's promotional calendar for the 2015-16 campaign at Indiana Farmers Coliseum. The Fuel also announced that single-game tickets for the team's second season of ECHL play will go on sale to the general public on Thursday, October 1st at 10:00 am EST.
"We're excited to offer an exciting promotional schedule in our second season to continue to improve the Fuel fan experience," said Fuel CEO and COO Sean Hallett on Tuesday. "We encourage all our fans to check back throughout the season for updates and additions to our promo calendar."
The Fuel's 2015-16 promotional schedule features the return of "Pink in the Rink Night" on October 30th vs. the Fort Wayne Komets, during which Fuel players will don limited edition specialty jerseys to help "Fuel the Fight" against breast cancer with the proceeds of a postgame jersey auction going to Susan G. Komen Central Indiana. Also back for 2015-16 are fan favorites "Blackhawks Night" on January 16th, celebrating Chicago's third Stanley Cup in six seasons, "Racing Night" on March 5th, featuring a wide array of professional drivers and cars from several motorsports series, "Military Night" on March 19th, honoring all servicemen and women, past and present, and a new and improved "Star Wars Night" on January 9th during which one lucky fan will win a private screening of Star Wars Episode VII!
New for 2015-16 are several family-friendly promotions including "Guns-n-Hoses Night" on November 14th featuring specialty jerseys that will be auctioned off after the game to benefit local police and firefighters, "Princess Day" on December 27th, where your child can meet their favorite Princess characters, "Superhero Night" on March 25th, complete with visits from Marvel characters Ironman, Spiderman, Thor and Captain America, Indy's first annual "Teddy Bear Toss" on December 12th to support local children's organizations during the holiday season, and five "Family Fun Days" on December 6th, December 20th, January 17th, January 24th and March 13th where you and your family can snag autographs from the team and participate in a postgame skate on the Indiana Farmers Coliseum ice.
Looking for the perfect night out with friends or collegues? Check out the Fuel's all-new "$10 Thursdays," during which fans will receive a $10 concessions voucher with paid admission, including during the Fuel's St. Patrick's Day game on March 17th that will feature specialty green jerseys and a free pint glass to the first 1,000 ticket holders!
The Fuel also return in 2015-16 with the best in commemorative, limited-edition giveaway items, including Head Coach Scott Hillman bobbleheads on "Fan Appreciation Night" April 8th, plush Garfield toys on "Indiana Farmers & Friends Night," featuring specialty jerseys worn by both teams on January 30th, Indy Fuel lunch bags on "Fuelify the Drive Night" November 21st and collectible Nitro puzzles on "Mascot Mania Night" March 11th.
