ROANOKE, VA - Frank Bakrlik scored two goals and added two assists, while Mike Berry and Sylvain Cloutier also tallied a pair of goals to lead the Adirondack Frostbite to a 8-3 win over the Roanoke Valley Vipers on Wednesday night.

Adirondack took an early lead, just 2:18 into the contest. Bakrlik gathered in a pass from Ryan Prentice, and skated free in front. His first shot was stopped by Shawn Conschafter, but the rebound came right back to Bakrlik's stick, and was able to slide a shot past the Roanoke goaltender for his second goal of the season.

Roanoke pulled even at the 15:32 mark. Branislav Kvetan skated across the Frostbite blue line, and from the left point took a long range slap shot that beat Kris Tebbs high to the glove side for his third of the year.

Berry put the Frostbite back on top 7:54 into the second period. Pete Ollari gathered in a loose puck in the right-wing circle and took a quick shot that was turned aside by Conschafter. The rebound sat free in the crease, and Berry was able to sweep it across the line for his 24th goal of the season.

Adirondack went on top 3-1 2:01 later, scoring a power-play goal. Berry centered a pass for Cloutier who was all alone at the top of the crease. Cloutier took a quick shot that beat Conschafter for his 21st.

But, the Vipers came back to pull within one with a power-play goal of their own at 12:58. Matt Elich's shot from the blue line was tipped in front by Jan Jas, who picked up his eighth of the year.

Bakrlik restored the two-goal advantage with a shorthanded goal at 17:43. He skated up the left-wing side, and blistered a slap shot over Conschafter's glove.

Berry made it 5-2 at 8:29 of the second, as he gathered in a pass from Bakrlik, and skated all alone through the slot, beating Conschafter with a wrist shot to the glove side.

Cloutier scored his second of the night at 10:00, taking a centering feed from Kevin Watters and one-timing a shot past Conschafter.

Greg Koehler scored his ninth of the season at 16:06, beating Conschafter on a breakaway.

Ryan Bennett made it 8-2 just 50 seconds later, dancing around a man in the right-wing circle and beating Conschafter for his 16th of the season.

Jonathan Charette set the final, scoring his sixth of the season at 19:06
