Adirondack Frostbite News Release

GLENS FALLS, NY -- The Adirondack Frostbite scored first, but the Muskegon Fury scored the final three goals of the game to take home a 3-1 win on Sunday in front of 1,863 fans at the Glens Falls Civic Center.

Josh Mizerek scored his first goal of the season at 9:40 of the first period to give Adirondack a 1-0 lead. Mizerek pinched in from the blue line, and had the puck behind the Fury net. He threw a pass in front, and the puck ended up sitting in the crease at the near post. Mizerek reached through traffic and was able to push the puck past Muskegon goaltender Clayton Pool.

The Fury's league-leading power-play went to work to tie the game at 4:56 of the second period. Robin Bouchard took a pass at the hash marks and beat Derek Gustafson high to the glove side for his league-leading 30th goal of the season.

Muskegon took the lead for good 5:40 into the final period. David Wrigley hit Billy Collins with a pass at the top of the right-wing circle, and Collins ripped a shot over Gustafson's left shoulder for his ninth goal of the season.

The Fury picked up an insurance goal at 10:06, scoring their second power-play goal of the night. Bouchard gathered in a rebound at the top of the crease and lifted a shot over Gustafson to set the final.

Adirondack is back in action on Friday, traveling to Kalamazoo for a 7:30 p.m. match-up with the K-Wings. Catch all of the action starting with the pre-game show at 7:10 p.m. on WCKM FM.
