Waterloo, IA - The Waterloo Bucks scored seven runs in the first inning and never looked back as they beat Green Bay 15-4 on Saturday in Iowa. Heading into the three-day All-Star break, the Bullfrogs split the two-game series with the Bucks. Green Bay will travel to Battle Creek on Wednesday for a two-game series.

Mark Anderson started for the Bullfrogs and got just one out in the first. He walked three, hit one and gave up a double before he was removed for Cory Kyle. The first hitter that Kyle faced was former Bullfrogs Chris Migani who hit a grand slam to make it a 6-0 game.

All-Star Mike Wisecarver started and earned the win for the Bucks allowing just two runs on two sacrifice flies in the third and fifth. The Bucks scored two more runs in the fourth inning off of Kyle who gave up two home runs on two pitches to begin the fourth.

The Bullfrogs scored two runs in the seventh inning. Jonathan Walsh had a one-out base hit. It was one of three hits he had in the game as he went 6-11 in the two-game series out of the lead-off spot. Duncan McAlpine followed that up with a single of his own before Jacob May drove in a run with a double. Billy Moon then hit a sacrifice fly.

The Bucks would respond with five runs in the bottom of the seventh. Phillip Ervin walked three and allowed all five runs. Green Bay will be home again to open a eight-game home stand on July 22nd.
