The RockHounds took the rubber match of the three-game series 4-2 Thursday night from Dr Pepper Ballpark.

Carlos Pimentel entered the sixth inning with a 2-1 lead but issued three consecutive walks to load the bases. Corey Young came in out of the bullpen and walked the tying run in against the first batter he faced. The RockHounds tacked on another run in the inning to take a 3-2 lead.

The RockHounds added an insurance run in the eighth on Adam Heether's RBI double that scored Wes Timmons.

Pimentel issued five walks over five innings and allowed three runs, despite only allowing one hit. He falls to 4-7 on the season.

Midland took an early inning lead for the third game in a row on Mike Spina's sacrifice fly bringing home Matt Sulentic.

Mike Bianucci's 24th homer of the season knotted the game at one in the second inning.

The 'Riders took their first lead of the game on Jonathan Greene's 15th long ball of the season. Greene had four home runs over the seven-game home stand against Corpus Christi and Midland.

Despite giving up two solo home runs, Midland starter Shawn Haviland improved to 4-9 after throwing six innings and allowing two runs on eight hits.

Frisco will embark on a seven-game road trip to San Antonio and Midland before returning home for the start of a ten-game home stand. San Antonio comes to town August 5-8 before Northwest Arkansas and Tulsa pay a visit to Frisco for a pair of three-game series.
