Friday's Fireworks Canceled Due to Extreme
August 19, 2016 - Northwest League (NWL1)
Salem-Keizer Volcanoes News Release
KEIZER, Oregon - Marion County is currently under a Red Flag Warning and outdoor burn ban due to the extreme heat, expected gusty winds and low humidity. Due to this, the fireworks show scheduled for after tonight's game has been canceled. We are hopeful conditions will improve, the ban will be lifted, and we will be able to shoot fireworks next Friday night as part of our Fan Appreciation Night festivities.
The rest of Friday's festivities including Hometown Heroes Night, an appearance from world-renowned RubberBoy and Team Photo giveaway will go on as scheduled.
