
Freeman Earns Player of the Week Honors Again

Rome, GA - Rome Braves first baseman Freddie Freeman has been selected for Player of the Week honors in the South Atlantic League in back-to-back weeks. It is also the first time in Rome Braves history that a Rome player has been named player of the week twice in a single season.
From July 14 -20, Freeman hit .520 (13-25), two home runs, six runs scored, two doubles and seven RBI with a slugging percentage of .880.
