Fort Wayne TinCaps News Release

WHAT: Fort Wayne TinCaps single game tickets are set to go on sale! To celebrate the occasion, fans who purchase tickets at the ballpark will be treated to a free breakfast buffet.

WHEN: Tickets go on sale Friday (Feb. 24) at 8 a.m. The free breakfast buffet will be served from 8-10 a.m.

WHERE: The breakfast will take place up in Parkview Field's Suite Level Lounge. Tickets will be available to purchase not only at Parkview Field, but also through TinCaps.com and by calling 260-482-6400.

The TinCaps recently revealed the team's jam-packed 2023 promotional schedule. The excitement includes 27 fireworks nights (the Fourth of July once again among them), appearances by national entertainers, giveaways, discounted concessions, themed games, and more.

Tickets start at just $7.

A major highlight for four games in August will be the debut of the team's new alternate identity as the Hoosier State Tenderloins, a tribute to Indiana's highly popular unofficial state sandwich.

The 'Caps open their 66-game home schedule at Parkview Field on April 11 against the Cleveland Guardians-affiliated Lake County Captains.

The TinCaps are the High-A Midwest League affiliate of the San Diego Padres. Since the franchise was founded in 1993 (and known as the Wizards through 2008), 208 players and counting have gone on to play at the sport's highest level in Major League Baseball. After opening in '09, Parkview Field in Downtown Fort Wayne has perennially been ranked as the No. 1 ballpark experience in Minor League Baseball. Over the years, the TinCaps have been awarded as Minor League Baseball's Organization of the Year, and also received accolades for community service, hospitality, promotions, and more. In 2022, Team President Mike Nutter won Minor League Baseball's Executive of the Year Award.
